Comments | Opening in June, 2005, this 18 hole championship course echos the Scottish Highlands golfing experience. The course features dramatic terrain, tall rough grasses, gnarled trees and shrubs, pristine fairways, greens and tees, punctuated with challenging pot bunkers, with wind a factor on most days. There is also a 9 hole par-3 course, teaching academy, double ended driving range and a clubhouse complete with a 200 seat dining room/lounge and a proshop. The BraeBen Golf Course was developed through a partnership between the Region of Peel and the City of Mississauga and designed by Ted Baker & Associates.Borrowing from this heritage, the name of the course - "BraeBen" - is Gaelic for "slope" and "mountain or hill". |

Comments | This Doug Carrick designed nine hole course has two completely separate tee boxes and plays like an 18 hole course. Fairways and greens are first-class with enough oddly shaped sand traps to watch out for throughout the course. The hillside location and rolling terrain give the course both uphill and downhill fairways. The sixth hole is the greatest challenge, a long par four at 383 yards, it doglegs right to an elevated green, which is well guarded on the right hand side by trees and sand. |

Comments | Since opening in 1992, this links-style course offers outrageous topography, lovely sweeps of land and magnificent scenic vistas. Stone fencing, the massive hills, fescue grasses, sod-wall bunkers (including the world's largest) and the occasional blind shot, Devil's Paintbrush has the rustic look and genuine quality of an Irish or Scottish links. The Pulpit, was named Canada's Best Private Course by Score magazine in 2001.Devil's Paintbrush is the polar opposite of Devil's Pulpit in personality, appearance and playability, and provides golfers with a completely different golf experience. |

Comments | Mayfield Golf Club offers 3 full nine hole courses and was built in 1978 by the DeLaat family and has been family-operated ever since. The front nine is set on more open terrain for the most part and plays a bit easier than the back nine, which finish with 3 of the more difficult holes on the course because of the mature trees and water. |

Comments | Nestled in the Credit River Valley, the fairways of this 2800 yard course re well framed by large, matured trees and the greens are large and undulatinge. The 373 yard par four 9th hole is the most demanding on the course, with a sweeping dogleg left that requires an accurate first shot from an elevated tee for a tricky down hill approach shot to the green. The 506 yard 7th hole is a very picturesque par five. |

Comments | This links style course was designed by Doug Carrick, Heathlands has received the Gold Award from The Golf Ranking Magazine, a 4 star rating by Golf Digest and is rated 5th in Ontario by The Southern Ontario Golf Directory. This challenging 18 hole championship North course with its undulating fairways, pot bunkers and fescue rough provides golfing in the Scottish tradition, and the wind often hinders rather than helps. The par-5 ninth hole is a double dogleg with a creek and pond down the right side of the fairway, making it hard to hit the green in two. Unlike a true links course, Osprey Valley does feature some ponds. The tee shot on the par-5 11th must carry water before heading down a valley, threading through a series of bunkers. The 2001-opened South course was built on a former gravel quarry to be a sand wasteland course "a la Pine Valley," winding through natural ponds and a pine plantation; and 3,000 trees transplanted to enhance the routing. |
